Used to connect two shafts together at their ends for the purpose of transmitting power, shaft couplings alter the vibration
characteristics of the rotating components while allowing for further mechanical flexibility. They also offer protection against overloads
while reducing the transmission of shock loads from one shaft to another.
Our superior line of miniature shaft couplings are can transmit full torque power from the driving shaft to the driven shaft without any energy losses.
Used for servo and stepper motor systems, our shaft couplings are corrosion resistant making them ideal for medical equipment. They can also be packaged for clean room applications.
Two coupling types are available, set screw type and clamp type shaft attachment. Set screw type secures the coupling to the shaft via several very small set screws.
Clamping type closes a radial slit via a socket head cap screw resulting in a clamping action on the shaft. Clamp type couplings do not mare or leave marks on the shaft surface.
